About Dekeyser Excavating
From 1971-1973 Eddy Dekeyser worked on his father’s beef cattle operation here in Colborne. To make some extra money for his growing family, Eddy’s father Richard gave him free use of his loader. Initially, Ed used it for plowing snow and Dekeyser Excavating has been in business since 1975.
50 years later and the Dekeyser family and the business is still growing. Now three generations of Dekeysers are involved with the company. Dekeyser Excavating specializes in municipal infrastructure projects, septic design and installation, aggregates, and site development. With over 40 pieces of equipment, we have the tools to take on groundwork projects of any size.
We are proud to have served Northumberland County and the surrounding areas for 50 years, and our family looks forward for more to come.
